Redline Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Redline ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Information we collect

None. Redline does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no login, and no analytics or tracking. The app makes no network requests of any kind.

Your session history

The record of your finished sessions, and the streak calculated from it, is stored on your device and never leaves it. Deleting the app deletes that history.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Redline writes each finished session to Apple Health as a high intensity interval training workout so it counts toward your Activity rings. You can turn this off in Settings at any time.

On Apple Watch, Redline also reads your heart rate and active energy while a session is running, solely so those readings can be attached to the workout it is recording. Health data is handled entirely by Apple on your device. We never see it, and it is never sent to us or any third party.

Audio

Spoken cues are generated on your device by iOS. Nothing is recorded, and the app never accesses your microphone.

Apple Watch

Your session setup is kept in step between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity, which passes it directly between your own paired devices. It does not pass through any server of ours.

Children

Redline is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
