The Examined Day ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
None. The Examined Day does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no login, and no analytics or tracking.
The intentions, reviews, and notes you write stay on your device. They are saved locally and are never sent to us or to any third party. Nothing you write leaves your phone.
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment information. Purchase status is managed by Apple's StoreKit on your device.
If you turn on daily reminders, The Examined Day schedules local notifications on your device to prompt your morning preparation and evening review. These are generated and delivered locally by iOS and are not sent through any server.
The Examined Day is rated 4+ and does not collect data from anyone, including children.
